The nursing staff were compassionate.

What could be improved

The consultant's medical staff makes you feel like you're taking diabolical liberties when you ring to ask for an appointment.

The Consulting rooms have thick layers of dust on the picture frames, light switches, door frames, etc.

The Clock Tower building were I was seen, was obselete in the 50's.

Anything else?

I asked to be referred to Chase Farm on the strength of the reputation of the surgeon. Because my injury was potentially career destroying I was highly anxious which meant I could not communicate clearly with the Surgeon. After my consultations, I still had many unanswered questions so I wrote to my surgeon.

He replied that I obviously had no faith and confidence in his recommendation and I should find another surgeon.

I've now gone to a different hospital and the new surgeon seems to be quite happy to answer questions.
