"My fathers care"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

(as a relative),

My Father has been an inpatient for several weeks and I am appalled at the way the hospital wards he has been on has communicated with us, we live 70 miles away.

He fell in hospital and broke his hip. No one bothered to let us know...it was only my sister who lives over 200 miles still further away, who rang him the morning that it happened, was told by him...in fact even when he was poorly he did his best to let us know.

I will complain but not just yet will contact PALS and let them know. It seems there has been quite a few who feel the same.

Thank you,
