i brought my daughter into miu last month with her finger very swollen. she was treated quickley and the nurse was pleasent. i was concerned my daughters finger was broken, but the nurse assured me it wasnt. i left with my daughter feeling confident in what the nurse had said. the following day, her finger was still swollen, so my husband took her back. a different nurse told him, it cant be broke as she was moving her finger. we left again beliving in the nurse. 3 weeks later her finger is still swollen, today i took her to wch, where she had ab xray which confirmed a break. shes suffered for 3 weeks with a briken finger when she could have been sent straight away. the nurses need to be more aware that sime children have a high pain threshshold, and xray should be suggested to rule out fractures.
"my experience of miu."
