"The hospital staff on the whole ..."

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The hospital staff on the whole were brilliant

What could be improved

My Fiance had just been discharged from his cardiologyst in Jusy 26th 2007 so to conduct further tests he was sent to see the Doctor in Neurology. The Dr asked him a few questions and sincerley told him he wasnt epileptic? My Fiance was meant to have a scan of his brain that day nut the Dr said it wasnt needed? Now over a year later on 27th Dec 2008 he is still waiting for one and is to go an see ENT on jan 13th.

Anything else?

Our lives have been in turmoil since my fiance became ill. He has to resign from work, I had to hand in my notice to become his full time unpaid carer. Its been very hard and I just hope the ENT will act on his 21 years, he is very scared and has got it in his head he has a brain tumour. He has constant ringing in his ears, so loud he shouts when talking, he has painfull tingles in his right arm, hand and foot and each time the GP see's him he referres him to another hospital, the hospital in durham tell shim to see his GP and this is why we have chosen Sunderland.
