Had mastectomy oct 2013-stayed on ward B4 for 5days.The consultant ,nurses and cleaners were all excellent, nothing too much trouble, always smiling, supportive and helpful.Started chemo in November who explained everything in a straightforward Manner. The breast care nurse, been there all way through, always ready to give support and advice. The Clatterbridge nurses have been brilliant in administering treatment and providing moral support and advice. The CAN treat ward,is made very welcoming and relaxed at a difficult time. The Mc millan volunteers come round with tea, toast and biscuits and friendly faces, they make a fab cuppa. The staff and volunteers in the Delamere centre are great. One does a very relaxing Indian head massage. They do a great goddess course. All the staff should be very proud of the excellent service they provide.I had initial tests at Warrington, the staff there were excellent too. Thanks to all for making life so much easier for patients at difficult times.I could not have asked for better treatment.
"Excellent all round"
