"Three times cared for and transported to Derriford Hospital by paramedics and ambulance"

About: Derriford Hospital / Accident and emergency Derriford Hospital / Cardiology Derriford Hospital / Respiratory medicine Derriford Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I have three times been cared for and transported to Derriford Hospital by paramedics and ambulance and I would like to thank the staff involved for their speed in dealing with me (first time broken hip, second heart attack, third pulmonary oedema). I don't know how I survived the last two: perhaps they do. I am very grateful for their skill and kindness and the only thing that could have been better was not to have needed them!

Dear Mhelen

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. I hope you are well and have recovered from your latest ordeal!

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide the very best care to our patients when they need us most. I would like to be able to formally thank the staff who came to your aid on thses occasions.

Would you be able to contact me, at your convenience, with the dates and locations of the ambulance attendances so that I may identify the staff involved? My email address is laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk

Thank you again for providing feedback on the service.

Kind regards

Laura
