I have just returned home after having my baby at Birmingham Womens Hospital and I just had to write to say how good my care was. Everyone I dealt with right through my pregnancy was excellent, my questions were answered, I felt I was under very good care and everyone was polite, friendly and helpful. I'm an anxious patient and was nervous about a third c-section but need not have worried. The theatre staff on the day of the c section were great and the surgeon was easy to talk to and did a great job. Aftercare on the ward was also excellent as were the facilities. Extended visiting hours for partners meant my husband could be with us for most of the day which helped me and also let him form a strong bond with the new baby. Breastfeeding support was also excellent. This is my second baby at Womens and each time I've been impressed. I'd highly recommend them.
