"Stay in children's isolation 8C"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My baby was admitted to 8C on isolation with suspected whooping cough. We stayed 2 weeks and I can only commend the staff we came into contact with. The staff who cared for my baby were courteous, friendly, polite and totally professional - a credit to the nursing profession. My child received excellent medical care and I received the best pastoral care as I was staying every night. Well done NHS and all staff on ward 8C at RPH

Thank you so much for your comments; it's very pleasing to hear that both the clinical and pastoral care was of such a high standard at what was obviously a very worrying time for you and your family. Hearing about positive experiences really motivates our staff, and helps us identify where we’re getting things right so we can share good practice across all of our services
