My father in law waited 9 hours to get the X-ray and blood tests he needed to rule out a serious pulmonary condition. The staff were rude and in attentive especially on Nicholas Ward. I saw elderly patients ignored, whilst the nurses on duty chatted around the nurse station.
Queues of patients were left on trolleys outside the X-ray department and the system seemed very inefficient. I was horrified at it all and feel very let down.
If I was the CEO of Warwick hospital, I would want to better understand what happens in my hospital on a Saturday and why the service is so poor. I think that this is an endemic system problem, compounded by rude staff. Please do something to improve it.
