I was admitted to AMU, via A&E, on 16 March suffering from respiratory failure. I was very anxious, naturally, but the staff on AMU did everything they could to alleviate that anxiety. I was due to be moved to F7 but, unfortunately, no beds were available so I spent a week on AMU. All the staff, from the cleaners to the doctors, were wonderful. I felt they were always doing their absolute best for me at all times and was cared for with dignity and respect. When, after a week, I was transferred to F7, the treatment there was of the same standard. All the staff, but particularly the nurses, on the ward work extremely hard tending to the patients and are efficient, caring and friendly. I was discharged on 5 April very much recovered - thank you so much.
"A big thank you to AMU and F7 staff"
