I had a series of severe nose bleeds. I was advised by a doctor to seek immediate help from a hospital if I had another before I could be seen by an Ear Nose & Throat specialist in 9 days time. I did have another bleed two days later and went to my nearest hospital, Watford General as that had an A & E department and, according to the website, an ENT department. When I arrived there I was told by reception that there was no ENT department. I was told to take seat and fifteen minutes later a practice nurse came and told me the same thing. I left without being seen by any doctor. As I write this, the Watford General website still has a page for the ENT department but the page has not been updated since January 2013. Isn't anyone responsible for ensuring that information presented to the public on the website is accurate?
