"A&E is a complete joke"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Went in to A&E last week about my ankle. It was twice the size it should be and couldn't even put a shoe on. Arrived at 7:20pm and did not get seen till 11:45 pm. It was not even that busy and at least 10 people came in after me and was all seen and out the door before I was even seen. I went to the desk at least 4 times and was told I was next 3 times but never was then on the 4th attempt I was told I had 5 people to go in before me. I could understand if they looked like there was anything wrong with some of them. One person had a little bandage on one finger and was in before I was. Staff didn't have a clue and receptionist was quite rude. I would love to know the logic on who they determine goes in what order. They should of maybe spent less money on painting the hospital blue and more money on staff who know what there doing.
