About: Wythenshawe Hospital

I had one week in this ward recovering from respiratory illness. Resources are obviously stretched but the ward manager and her team work extremely hard to ensure that the patient's care is central to their work. The medical team in charge of my treatment kept me fully informed and when it came to my discharge were extremely efficient. I have to say that the one issue that I had relates to the standard of the food provided. On the face of it the menus look acceptable but what turns up on the plate rarely matches expectation. I know that there are cost implications here but there must be scope for improvement. My very grateful thanks to all concerned.
