"Gall-stone removal"

About: Airedale General Hospital

I would like to thank the Doctors and nursing staff at the hospital, I have a slight worry that having a gall-stone removed In early January I was told I also had an Hernia, the specialist told me they would take my gall-stone and the hernia out at the same time, I told them that I will be abroad in May, after working the time out on their fingers they told me and the students they were teaching that I would have them removed well before may, In February I went back to see another specialist just to see how I was doing, who again said the would toke both out at the same time, I said I will be abroad in May, I was told by them (who was very polite and friendly) that it would be well after May before I had the operation. I hope nothing happens while I am abroad. Why have hospitals stopped giving the gall-stone that have been removed back to the patients?.
