"Thank you to all the day surgery staff"

About: Russells Hall Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I can only laud prise on all staff involved in my treatment for Basal Cell Carcinoma at the day surgery this week.

As someone fortunate enough never to have been in hospital and who has rarely needed their care, I was a little unsure what to expect. Although the events had been explained, there was still something niggling me.

To be honest, I could not have wished for better care. I don't know what to say as regards how the service could have been better. From all points, check in to check out, I was put at ease and great care was taken to ensure my comfort. The sense of humour alongside skills and professionalism allayed any fears.

Thank you to all staff concerned, from the day surgery check-in staff, the theatre staff and those on B4. If the CQC would like to speak to me, I would be only to please to give them my opinions too.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to let us know about your experience of our hospital. We know that coming into hospital for any reason can be stressful and worrying, especially when you are not sure what to expect, so it is good to know that you were put at ease by our staff.

We are pleased to hear you were so impressed by the care you received and that you were made to feel comfortable during your time here. We have passed your lovely comments on to all the staff involved in your care. Thank you.
