"My wellbeing"

About: The Royal London Hospital For Integrated Medicine

A consultant has been treating me for about 3 and a half years following my cancer diagnosis, and she has given me wonderful advice and help. I believe that the Complementary Medicines she has recommended me to take have made a huge difference to my life and my outlook. Despite the diagnosis, I have experienced many states of serenity, calmness and even at times, an inner 'joy', and I am so pleased that I have quite a lot of energy, and am able to pursue the dreams I still have. I am determined to look after myself, follow a good diet, excercise etc. but I am convinced that the treatments I have been given have done so much more to enhance my mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. As a child, I knew that a nettle would sting, but that nearby, a dock leaf would be patiently waiting to then heal this hurt. I had no scientific facts about this - but I certainly knew from experience that it would work. Just as I know that a small piece of Aloe Vera leaf placed gently on a small burn will take away the pain and sooth the area. And now, when I most need it, I feel that I am receiving such tremendous benefits from the Complimentary Medicines that I am receiving. It is good to know that various pains I sometimes suffer from, can be alleviated with a complementary supplement and that I seldom have to resort to painkillers. I feel very fortunate to be able to attend the RLHIM, to receive such enriching help. Complementary Medicine can offer so much to so many of us. We know we can trust the doctors at the RLHIM, and I would like to thank my doctor especially, for helping me find a good place to be in as far as my wellbeing is concerned. Her advice, recommendations and knowledge are absolutely invaluable. Many thanks to all of you at the RLHIM. Long may you be there to continue to help so many of us out here.
