(as the patient),

I am in gold stage Emphysema, and have had severe exacerbations over the past few months. I am absolutely petrified when I can't breathe and would like to thank Derek Gould and Paul birch for helping me to relax and bring my breathing back under control. I am awaiting a lung reduction operation and both these paramedics have been amazing and are very experienced in helping me when I am fighting to get my breath...
