We went to walk in centre today and as soon as a nurse knew my husbands problem we were "Fast Tracked" to Majors in A&E - staff co operated with each other brilliantly to get my husband treated quickly, explained what would happen at every stage, gave options, showed true empathy and treated my husband and I with dignity and respect. Yes, the department is old, Yes, the building could be better, but the people who work in there, although busy and stressed made us truly feel that we mattered to them ! And now we are home, treated, my husband is comfortable after the intervention of a marvellous team effort which has left us confident in our NHS - Bless You to the staff in Walk In, Ultrasound, discharge and the young man who actually treated my husband and the lovely lady with Snack Boxes and Drinks we couldn't enjoy - Thank You!
"Wonderful Caring People !"
