"LONG WAIT TIME"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

My wife saw her consultant at the beginning of Jan 2014 at sidcup but because they have no hdp unit. She was transferred to Darenth Hospital for her operation. It is quite a major op on her foot to rebuild it with bone graft from her hip. She is pain walking.So far we have no op date and are still waiting It is just about 4mths now. We have spoken on phone to admissions who say that the op will be prob around end of may. Approx 5months .We have had to wait for all of this time and will because of family commitments will probally have to delay the op till sept.The op has a 12 week before out of leg /foot support.Our dead line was 5/6th may. I think it is a poor do .By the way the breach time for this wait is end of may.So they have to get us in at end of may I think. Feeling Let Down by NHS and Darenth
