About: Hull Royal Infirmary

I was in HRI over the weekend my treatment was great and so were the staff. My only compliant is they don't cater for Coeliac's and lactose free. In AAU, I had no breakfast,!! only childs size tuna salad for dinner, when it came to my tea there was Nothing,!!!! I asked if they had a Jacket spud the answer was no. I had to get my wife to bring a sandwich in for me, and milk for my drinks.

Dear Mr Foster Thank you for adding you comment to the NHS Choices website. It is always a pleasure to receive such positive feedback and we will ensure that the staff concerned are made aware of these. I am sorry to read that you were not provided with food during your stay suitable for your condition. The catering department does have food on the menu each mealtime for patients with coeliac or lactose free diets and I am sorry that this was not offered to you. Please be assured that this will be raised with the staff concerned so that patients with similar requirements can be offered suitable dietry choices.
