"ENT Outpatients department"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

It is so very disorganised and waiting times are dreadful. You can expect to be there several hours for an outpatient appointment with no information on waiting times although you are supposed to be updated on the board in the waiting area. Waiting to see a consultant for 2 hours them told you need tests to wait for a further hour when the tests should have been done to save time on arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful as they can be but know very little of what's going on or about what services are being delivered there. The nurses are sat round the corner where you can't see them to be able to ask. Please clean the childrens play area! It is filthy! It is quite clear this area is never cleaned or the toys and books. It is the dirtiest I have ever seen !!!

Thank you for taking the time to post feedback about your experience at St George’s Hospital. We are sorry that you had a long wait and found the area unclean and the staff knowing little about what is going on in the clinic. The manager of the ENT outpatients will be informed of your comments. If you would like to talk to the service about your experience and if you have not done so already, then please contact the PAL Service at pals@stgeorges.nhs.uk or on 020 8725 2453 where staff will see what they can do to help.
