"Admitted with abdominal pain on 10th April 2014"

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

I was sent to A & E by my GP on Thursday 10th due to abdominal pain; service, speed and care were superb from start to finish. I was admitted to ACU by 11.30, therefore the entire process had taken approximately 6 hours, pretty impressive. I was still in a lot of pain and fretful, but was shown so much kindness and care that I settled quite quickly. The nursing staff (and doctors!) work tirelessly with so much dignity and kindness shown to even the most difficult of patients. Next morning I was able to shower, clean my teeth all with items supplied by the ward (thank you!), makes such a difference and shows the level of care directed at patients. I honestly don't know where to start to explain how good they were, doctors arriving when I was told hey would, nurses ready with a smile, even the food was OK! All of this as well as superb medical care. Whipps Cross be proud of yourselves.
