"Annoyed and Frustrated"

About: North Manchester General Hospital

My mum was admitted on 18/3/14 and was told she needed open heart surgery. 4 weeks later and still waiting to be admitted to MRI. Apparently, she is a priority case! Has promised she is first on the wait list for a bed but still nothing. She was told she had to be seen by a vascular surgeon and this should have been Friday but guess what, still no visit and it is now Monday!! She did have a bed at MRI last Friday but at the 11th hour it was taken by an emergency case. I have no complaints about the staff caring for her but we are beginning to feel that she is being left because of her age. At this rate, she'll be joining the staff on the Christmas party!!
