first i must commend and thank all the staff on icu if it was not for their dedication my daughter would not be here today however ward 20 is a different matter within 48 hours of leaving icu the staff ignore the family and patients my son in law had to request a nebuliser for my daughter as this was not given daughters notes state she needs assistance x 2 when walking so why was she found outside the hospital minus here id band by her husband and when returned to the ward the staff did not care thier response to being asked why was oh we wondered where she was no assistance was offered to her husband with returnig her to bed (he has just undergone open heart surgery and is still in recovery so does not need this stress) medication has been found under the bed so staff not observing patients taking meds as prescribed. generally the staff have a dont care attitude towards patients and family i apologies to all the good nursing staff at the hospital but as always it takes just a minority to give the whole profesion a bad name be warned all who enter ward 20 this is not the first time my daughter has been on this ward and it has not improved
