What I liked I can't fault the midwifery team, midwifery assistants and all but one consultant paediatrician. The care I recieved was excemplary on both the delivery suite and Bramber ward. I am especially grateful to the staff who were on duty during the first two nights and day after I gave birth for their support in my decision to breastfeed as they spent most of their spare time by my side helping me try to do so, also for the understanding and care I received when the baby blues kicked in as nothing was too much trouble. What could be improved? Other than the one paediatrician who needs to learn to explain in as much depth as the parents want and need what problems their newborn has, my only complaint is that the portion sizes were rather small.
