Our mother is currently admitted in AM3 ward at MRI and this is the fourth time she has had to be admitted for a recurring UTI. We have been pushing for a Urologist to see our mum, but this has been severely delayed as the staff do not seem to have any control over this.
The last four months have been a nightmare for our family, as whenever our mother is discharged, a few days later she is back in the hospital with the same UTI, which has a resistant bug E-Coli and can only be treated with IV antibiotics.
We have been promised that a Urologist will see her next week but can only live in hope. (FYI she also had TB which has shown marked improvement and she has further 2 months of treatment left for this). Please help!
