"out patient appointment diabetic clinic"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital

Was not spoken to by doctor with any respect, could not understand what he was saying during some of the consultation, was uninterested, did not appear to listen in what my husband was telling him, just repeated all the time about blood sugars high. Nurse took blood pressure, never wrote down, so had to be done again, was not told wether ok or not. husband attempted to tell him about numbness in feet, he never checked them, just said high blood sugar cause this. never mentioned anything about other issues that my own go surgery nurse had discussed. husband explained had stopped smoking, was attempting to follow a healthy diet and was stressed at present time due to work, was told that's why blood sugar high. gave no positive help what's so ever. husband came home more stressed then when he went. Will not be visiting this clinic again gets more positive advice from diabetic nurse at our doctors surgery. well done scunthorpe General for once again being of no help
