To anyone contemplating, considering and or exploring this hospital as an option of having your baby, look no further! I spent my entire pregnancy researching where best to have my second son as my first was in my home country and the best private care. To say i was worried is an understatement! I read forums, asked around and got conflicting feedback. I ended up selecting this hospital as it was convenient for appointments and not too far away from my home and i just anxiously hoped all would be ok. So, to put it in to perspective, let me start by saying that, accept for the ok food in the post natal ward, i simply cannot fault my stay at the hospital. This includes my pre checks, theatre, recovery and post ward. I had the best anaesthetist which had me under control from check in to recovery. I had a lo-cum Dr which i only met on the morning of my c-sec, who ended up doing an incredible job with a very neat and tidy cut and delivery. Everyone in that theatre room was professional and i did not feel like just another patient on the list for the day! The staff in post ward attended to my every need and concern. They took great care of me and my baby. To some extent i received better care from the NHS than i did in my home country which i paid a fortune for. Please, pass on a huge thank you again to the team in theatre, to the anaesthetist and to the Dr on duty on the 21s of February 2014 and to all the friendly and helpful staff in post ward. I will never forget meeting my second son feeling completely taken care of.
