"Awful care at EAU"

About: King's Mill Hospital

Arrived at the hospital to see family member only for my uncle to be spoken to very unprofessionally, then the message was passed on to another member of staff who came to reiterate that the food (even though fam member had been given 2 meals as they forgot to give her dinner) was not to be eaten by others, which was fine but the attitude of the 2 staff members was horrible. Tablet dosages where wrong, even though fam member kept reiterating for them to check paper work, and also missed tablets after dinner and at 4 pm. Later uncle went to apologies and say that it wasn't what she was saying but the tone in which he spoke, everything was settled between them. 3 hours later security arrived, shouting down the ward that they wanted to speak to him, he left politely only to have been accused of recording and taking photos of this women! Ridiculous! He explained that the nurse was wrong and the security came to realise it was by fault of the hospital and not him. Communication between nurses coming on and off shift was appalling, it was like starting all over again when a staff member left. Waited 4 hours for a doctor who was on his was to see us now. They never came so fan member ended up staying the night.
