"Endoscopy Suite 1 (03 March 2014)"

About: King's Mill Hospital

Having just attended the King's Treatment Centre for a Flexible Sigmoidoscopy (camera inspection of bowels) I was quite nervous and ignorant of the procedures, however from initially seeing the consultant and then all other staff throughout the procedure great care was taken to explain every part of the process in detail. Each staff member was very polite, cheerful, efficient and professional. Even given the nature of the tasks my dignity was left intact and we even had occasion to raise a smile or two. I left the hospital feeling that I had been in very good hands indeed. My overall impression of this unit is of a very organised team working in a clean and fresh environment giving excellent care. I cannot thank them enough.
