"Visiting times! Parking!"

About: Horsham Hospital

I wish it were easier to find out visiting times. If the information is on the website, it is well hidden. It seems you have to telephone and I'm sure the switchboard operator/receptionist has better things to do. Secondly, there is no motorcycle parking which could easily be installed in undesignated area without compromising parking by other vehicles. As a frequent visitor to the Horizon Unit, this is a real inconvenience and rather discriminatory. There is no such problem at Worthing Hospital where motorcycles can be parked for a £1 fee. Many hospitals provide free parking for bikes. This feedback is principally for patients ands some of my 'star' ratings are irrelevant but I hope someone will read it.

Response from Nick Fairclough, Head of Marketing, Communications & Intelligence, Sussex Community NHS Trust

Dear Mr Wood

Thank you for your comments, and we are sorry to read of your concerns.

It's a bit difficult to give a simple idea of visiting times at Horsham Hospital as there are a range of different services run by different NHS trusts with different arrangements. But we will review the way we describe our Sussex Community NHS Trust (SCT) services on the SCT website and provide as much information as we can.

I'll ask our facilities team to review the parking arrangements at Horsham. The site is run by NHS Property Services and not by SCT, but I'm sure they will want to carefully consider the points made.
