"Visit to A&E"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital

On Tuesday 8th April 2014 we had our first visit to the A & E Dept. at the Hospital. This was at 0935hrs and was as a result of my wife damaging her left ankle whilst running that morning. From start to finish I want to stress that we cannot speak highly enough about the entire team from reception, via consultation to X-Ray and then diagnosis. The whole procedure took 65 minutes, some will say that was luck due to the time of day. To us this has no bearing at all as this was our experience. We would have no concerns about attending again if we were unfortunate enough to have to! Once again a big thank you to all those concerned.

Dear Ms Donnell, Many thanks for taking the time to share your experiences with us. It's good to hear you and your wife didn't have to wait long in A&E and that you were so pleased with the care you received. We will pass these comments onto the A&E team at Cheltenham General Hospital. Thank you again for getting in touch and we hope your wife is now recovering well. Best wishes The team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
