"early hour visit"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

Urti for few days suffer from ME, no sleep for three night therefore demented with exhaustion unable to breathe well. quickly seen, bloods taken, offered oxygen, staff very good handling me as it was 6 am. i'd had 20 mins sleep and ME affects my cognitive functions so I was rambling at times, great care and concern shown to me especially by the dr who was most concerned about high BP and Sugars (i'm diabetic) . sensible treatment and plan which I did follow up with Gp later as my sugars went even higher, seems over counter cough med is not good for diabetics so now on something better. most impressed by understanding of aftercare and follow up not just treat n street. Now feeling better but know recovery will be slow because of ME, and reassured that dept happy for me to reappear if in difficulties again because of diabetes and esp ME, which complicates everything

We are very pleased to hear that you were happy with the care provided in our A&E department and felt reassured by our Dr and the other staff. We are pleased you are feeling better and hope your recovery is not too slow. Many thanks for your comments - we have passed them onto the team.
