"Came out worse than I went in"

About: Furness General Hospital

Recently I was in A&E with a suspected blood clot in my leg, the nurse that saw me didn't even know that I was a Type One Diabetic. He went on to do a blood test in my hand which he was very rough with and caused swelling in my hand due to bleeding under the skin, it has been almost 5 days now and its still very bruised and hurts to move my fingers. I visited A&E a couple of months ago with a blood sugar reading of 40mmol and moderate ketones, I was not admitted to a ward and instead the doctor gave me an overdose of insulin which I only noticed by chance when I got home, this was a dangerous situation as I am hypo unaware.
