In June 2013 I gave birth to my son at Frimleu Park. My labour was eventful and was tended to by several shifts of midwives. All of whom put my needs first. I felt there was no pressure should I want pain relief or not, and how I wanted to have my baby. After the birth we had to stay in for a few nights and I felt the wealth of knowledge all the staff had so reassuring. Everyone from the midwives to the paediatrician at 3am helped me with my torrent of hormones and a brand new little boy. Although the staff encourage breast feeding they could see we were struggling and got me advice from the specialist breast feeding nurse. She was so lovely and put my mind at rest that what ever I do it would be the best decision. Thank you to all the staff. X
