"Left waiting for poor care at HRI"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary Hull Teaching PCT

(as the patient),

I went in to HRI hospital in Hull because I had pains in my stomach. I have a super pubic catheter plus other disabilities. I am blind and have mobility problems. I was leaking from my catheter and my bed was soaked. I asked a number of times to be changed and the staff said they would do it soon. I waited about 4 hours to get my bed changed, my elbow was beginning to get sore with being in the wet. I didn't get any tea offered, but earlier I did have some cereal, once my xray had been done. My catheter was blocked and the doctor was going to put another one in, and told me he would be 5 minutes, I waited for about 3 hours for it to be changed. I was in over night and I was glad to get back to the respite centre.
