The hospital is in Darlington.

What could be improved

Care is very, very, poor. Nurses make no attempt to make decisions,they just plod on day after day without any thought giving drugs until a doctor decides to turn up and say otherwise. There is no urgency in the place even when the patients condition is worsening day after day, every day. I have seen both my parents let down and neglected in this hospital, my mam died with cdiff. We did not keep on top of her treatment we trusted the staff knew what they were doing. Staff change shifts so often infomation is not passed over properly and mistakes are made. The place is a nightmare. If you ask questions you are being"confrontational" and staff all turn into shop stewards from the 70's. If you have split ends or a broken nail this could be the hospital for you. BUT.... if its for a loved one who needs serious medical help look elsewhere!

Yeah knock it down and build an asda, it will be more use to the older people of the town.
