What I liked

Pleasant lady in the audiology area who did my hearing test and tympanogram.

Pleasant receptionist.

What could be improved

Improve the long waiting times.

Improve the waiting area.

Improve the time we wait to see the consultant.

The Consultant in the ENT department whom I visited needs to improve in ALL areas:-

1) No medical history was taken.

2) I was not given the chance to explain my medical problems.

3) Failed to understand my medical problems.

4) No help was given to me to figure out what my medical problem is and I was fobbed off with a poor consultation and poor evaluation (I waited several weeks for this poor appointment).

I had no choice and was forced to write a letter of complaint regarding the poor treatment I received. The response I was given was very poor and shocking, the Consultant from the ENT department wrote numerous lies in the letter I received from NGH, made up all kinds of excuses and tried to make me look like the bad guy.

All in all I have had a very bad experience and I am not happy at all.

Anything else?

Is this the standard of healthcare at NGH?

I wish I could have posted a positive message.
