"4 exceptional antenatal experiences. 2 in my own..."

About: Liverpool Womens Hospital

I have had 4 pregnancies the first unfortunately was ectopic my only criticism of this is that I was not offered medical management only a surgical option it was only my own knowledge that saved my Fallopian tube and my fertility in my opinion. I have since had 1 birth in hospital and 2 Home water births. I can not fault my care which has been exceptional. The community team who covered my 2home births made the experience wonderful. Due to moving house for my second home birth slightly outside the women's area I was originally under Ormskirk hospital were the care was so appalling I would even have considered getting my husband to deliver it instead of them. On discussing this with a Liverpool midwife they kindly agreed to cover my home birth even though I was outside their area. I am so grateful to them as it was a beautiful memorable experience again. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital and especially their management of home birth. They even hire you the pool and tens machines and give fantastic practical advice to make a home water birth go without a hitch or even a stitch in both my cases.
