"Car parking"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I had an appointment on 31 January, and as far as the medical side was concerned, it was a satisfactory visit – but the new car parking system lets the hospital down. I could not get change for the machine inside the hospital, but apparently there is somewhere on the premises, a ‘shed’ where change is given – patients should not be put to this inconvenience. The old system was fair and satisfactory; whoever thought up this new system should be thoroughly ashamed on themselves – it is not in the patients interest, but seems to favour ParkingEye. Under the Freedom of Information Act, I require to know the terms and condition of this contract, especially - 1. How much is the contract work to ParkingEye annually. 2. What profit the hospital trust accrues annually from this contract. and 3. Is the contractor permitted to keep all or part of the parking fines they impose. I would appreciate a swift answer.
