"My wife was taken into A/E and ..."

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske)

(as a relative),

What I liked

My wife was taken into A/E and very positively treated, as always

What could be improved

I am not into the bug count; the place seemed to be clean but what is clean? All I know is that the standard of cleanliness could be improved in all Hospitals if a scheme as in Denmark were in operation; no home clothes in the wards (staff) and no hospital uniforms outside the hospital. (yesterday I saw a theatre person with cap and mask walking up through the main corridor. Coming from? or going to? it all allows the movement of potentially virulent infections). This should apply also to foot ware. I know it would involve washing and laundering facilities in the hospital which would be easily paid for by removing two middle managers many of whom seem duplicated and do nothing productive that I can see except oversee an over spend!

Anything else?

More nurse/matrons, less managers!
