About: West Middlesex University Hospital

After waiting over 4 half months to be seen by a skin doctor about my condition, changing the dates several times, find this hospital a joke the doctor I was seen by didn't seem to care about my condition when I asked about other ways of treating me he didn't seem listen, then when issued with several different creams that my doctors could give is a joke. Then to pay for parking which is a joke I don't understand why people have to pay when very ill people are in hospitals. As a local person I don't expect to be charged loads of money to be told my doctors could of given me these creams.

We were sorry to hear about your recent experiences in our hospital and that they did not match the high standards we aim for, for all patients. Without knowing the details of your visit it is not possible to give you a detailed response. However we would encourage you to get in touch via our PALS (patient advice and liaison service) team on pals.service@wmuh.nhs.uk / 020 8321 6261 so that we can investigate and give you a proper explanation. With regard to your comments about parking, the Trust operates a Travel Plan policy. We are fortunate to have good public transport links, as well as good provision of on site parking. Like the vast majority of hospitals in England we do make a charge for people who park here, including staff, which covers the up keep of the car parks.
