"visit to GI unit"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

on Friday 7/02/14 i had to have an endoscopic ulrasound. I was treated extremely well from the girls on reception to the consultant. Everything that was going to be done was fully explained and after the procedure i was well cared for. Over the past 12 months i have visited A&E several times with an ongoing problem and only wish the care was as good as on the GI unit. After complaining about past treatment i felt i need to give praise where it is due. Ann.

It is wonderful to hear that you were so impressed by the quality of care you received from our staff on the GI Unit during your visit. We are sorry to hear that you have been let down in the past whilst visiting our A&E department. We aim to offer our patients the highest standards of care and it is very disappointing to learn that you were unhappy with the care you received in A&E. We have passed your comments on to the teams in the GI Unit and A&E.
