Our son had the terrible misfortune of having a motorbike accident in January. He was blue lighted halfway across London to St Mary's. On his arrival he was met by the orthopedic team, within 2 hours his injuries we assessed and stabilized. I do not want to go on about the experience in AE. It wasn't the best but I understand the pressures of AE. Please get a vending machine so scared, frighented and worried relatives can get a hot drink when they have had the worst night of their live. I wanted to say a huge thank you to the staff on Valentine Ellis ward. The staff were amazing. They were professional, honest and incredible caring. If you asked for something they were there. Words are just not enough to thank them especially Natalie, she is what the NHS is all about, caring, kind and considerate a complete credit to your hospital. The ward was clearly well managed by the ward manager (I'm sorry his name escapes me). What a fantastic way he has with the patients, clearly runs a tight ship. Massive thanks to Valentine Ellis ward you are a great bunch of staff with a huge amount of professalism. Keep up the good work Would I recommend you?? Of course I would 100%
"What an amazing well run friendly ward - Valentine..."
