As a retired NHS consultant I was interested to find myself a patient with a fractured bone in my foot. The treatment i received was excellent from start to finish. The treatment given was so effective I am going to cancel my appointment at the fracture clinic - I do not need to trouble them. If the hospital had been closed a few years ago, as threatened, I would have to have gone some 17 miles to Gloucester Hospital and clutteered up a really busy department.
