"Disgraceful!"

My stepdaughter on the advice of 111 went to a & e. She has a rare condition called reflex sympathetic dystrophy , and had pain relief injections in the day care centre which had resulted in her having severe pain . The doctor she saw did not know of her condition , would not contact a neurologist , and did not contact an on call anaesthetist . He asked me several times what had happened . I asked him to contact a neurologist as her last episode resulted in her staying in hospital for 6 1/2 months . He told me there was none available as it was evening and it was only junior doctors in the hospital on the evening. He offered to put her in a ward but didn't know why !! We asked for a second opinion which was ignored & just to top the whole visit was ordered out of the room by another doctor who needed it for women with gyny problems. I have been advised by a member of staff to complain to pace which I have done this morning .
