"lack of respect/consideration"

Having been admitted for a major spinal operation which I have been told was a success however, I have serious concerns about aftercare (or total lack of it) by the staff involved in my care. Despite trying everything including pressure by my own G.P the staff have called me back on two occasions which I believed to be to check up on how things are but on both visits I have never been asked by the "team member" to even look at the operation site which I find both unprofessional and insulting. I have on both occasions take a very small list of major problems without the team member taking the slightest notice of what I told them instead,,just offering me drugs rather than investigate the problems. I am both disgusted and deeply upset with them all and dread ever having to go to the R.V.I in Newcastle and would advise others to think carefully about stepping inside their doors.
