From the arrival of a paramedic whilst the 999 call was still in progress to the ambulance arriving 2 minutes later to the exceptional treatment in resus, speedy clinical assessment and diagnosis, care respect time and clarity of interaction with the family, our 98 year father received the finest medical intervention one could ever wish for. The clinical discussions led by the doctor, the competence and sensitivity shown, the speedy and urgent gathering of medical professionals from in and outside the hospital and eventual transfer to intensive care .....all on a Sunday ! Totally impossible to fault. The care quality from then on in intensive care was superb and continued onto the ward once released from the ITU . Cleanliness was outstanding, food superb, hydration and monitoring professional throughout. The care and support was both faultless and seamless. We cannot praise sufficiently each and every member of staff who treated or cared for our father during his time at East Surrey. He would not be here today, back home sleeping in his own bed and walking up the stairs unaided one week after an emergency admission .were it not for the NHS and the most amazing hospital and medical team one could ever wish for !! Thank you .
