"Appointments and tests"
About: Manchester Royal Infirmary Manchester Royal Infirmary Manchester M13 9WL
Not a very good patient and relative experience. Having similar problems to a previous patient. I have a daughter with congenital heart defects she has been with MRI for a couple of years now and i have had to do constant chasing with specialist nurses and secretaries to sort out appointments and tests ever since. My daughter is waiting for an exercise tolerance test since may last year. despite my many requests for this test with the above mentioned she is still waiting now she has an appointment next week with a joint consultancy clinic to review the results ( which he won't have) We have decided to keep the appointment so we can give them a piece of our minds. I am a nurse myself and work in a very popular, highly respected hospital and if i could get my daughters treatment transfered there i would, unfortunately this is the only hospital nearby that specialises in A.C.H.D. I also know that if I conducted my job like some of these here at this hospital I would no longer have a job with them.. Something seriously needs looking into. Your hospital has peoples lives in their hands. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone with A.C.H.D. although i cannot say what other departments are like as our experience is only with the cardiology department.
