"would not recommend, dirty, cramped wards,..."

my mother was in with a bad infection. The staff on Fern ward forgot to her all of the medication she was prescribed and perhaps as a result of this her infection is very slow to heal. she has been discharged, although she is unable to take care of herself at home. Staff seem to treat elderly people as though they are idiots. My mum was often brought the wrong food - not what she'd ticked on the menu. A horrible experience. I hope I never have the misfortune to find myself there.
